advert/album cover
I think im going to choose the 3rd one down. I really like the colours used in editing and i like how the main image - George, isnt symetrical. I will probably make the advert and ablum very conventional with the text at the top or bottom and with san serief writing.

Album Advert Research
Album adverts within NME magazine all had their own individual concepts however all were very similar in their layout and the image choice depending on the type of band. Bands that were more abstract and favoured by one choice of social group or age such as Foals and Eight legs had more adstarct adverts, very brightly coloured, the image was not of the band.
Where was other artists such as Marina and the Diamonds and Plan B's adverts, the images were of them, had a very basic colour scheme and were visually less abstract to represent their music. I think Pink's advert would look very similar to those of Marina and the Diamonds and Plan B's as her music isnt just liked by one main social group or age just like Marina and the Diamonds and Plan B.
All the adverts were the same image and layout of their album that they were advertising. The artists name was at the top of the advert. The fouls advert/album cover its filled by the image, where as Plan B's album cover is only partially covered by the image of him at the theatre in the centre. marina and the Diamonds image also covers the whole of the album/advert.

Problems sorted
1) Photo's were sent via hotmail for my album cover and magazine advert, however these woukd not open and i couldnt retake the photo's becuase of change in hair cuts and so there woule be no continuency. However this was solved by opening the photo's a different way.
2) During a shot there is a noticable movement of the camera and i didnt know whether i'd have time to refilm the shot. This was solved as it was done during dinner hours at college.
3) More filming was done at the weekend to fill gaps in the video where i was unable to film the orginal shots i had planned in my storyboard. I prefer these clips as they are in a different style to how i had originally filmed but dont look odd within my video

Safety
There was a couple of safety elements to filming, especially when one of the actors smashes the wine bottle. This was not only a safety hazard to my actor, George and myself but walkers if we didn't clean all the glass up after we had stopped filming. Before shooting i made sure that George wasn't too close to the bottle when it smashed because it could have cut her hands and leg. After shooting all the glass was brushed up and picked up with gloves, so we didn't cut ourselves. It was then checked over by my dad to make sure we hadn't missed any bits.
There was also a safety element during the bullying scene so the actor wouldn't be hurt or pushed over.

Guidlines
In my original editing, there is a shot of the character taking drugs. However after researching on the BBFC website (British Broadcasting Film Company) i found that a shot of drug taking was too explicit for my target audience of teenagers. The BBFC said; 'Whilst may recognised that 15 year olds were likely to have been exposed to drugs (either directly through their own experiences or via anti-drug campaigns at school), the important of taking care to not glamorise drugs in any way was conveyed effectively by: 'drug taking may be shown but the film as a while must not promote or encourage drug misuse.' and 'Drug taking maybe shown but the film as a whole must not promote or encourage drug misuse'. After reading this i still decided to take that shot out so there would be no controversy.
There is 2 shots explicit language being used, one is partially mouthed to the drunk girl and the shot of the bullies texting the girl. The BBFC said 'There maybe frequent use of strong language. The strongest terms (for example F**k) maybe acceptable if justified by the content. I think the use of the strong language is justified within my music video because of its strong themes of identity.
